Today marks the Annual Military Inspection for the Navy JROTC cadets and JFK High School in Silver Spring, Maryland.

The inspection is completed by the area's manager, Captain Robert E. Gumpright. Throughout, the cadets are inspected both physically and intellectually. Their uniforms are checked for flaws and their military knowledge is tested.

After the inspection, a ceremony is held, in which special awards are presented to the most outstanding cadets.
