Hold onto your butts, I’m about to try a thing.

A few months ago my glorious Twitch community gifted me a VR headset with the promise that I’d start performing at virtual clubs. Well, the time has come for a live test! This week’s Progressive Birdhouse will be my first attempt at broadcasting into VRC, so if you’ve got an account, feel free to join us!

Unfortunately, VRC instances only last so long, so while the link will always be avianinvasion.com/vr, it won’t take you to the right place until I announce the stream that day. Stream announcements are posted on my Twitter, Facebook, Telegram, or Discord channels the day of the show. Be sure to follow me there if you want to show off your dance moves!

BUT WHAT ABOUT REGULAR STREAMS?

Don’t have VRC? Or want to keep doing cool things like asking for shoutouts or making me do the Party Parrot dance? Don’t worry! Part of the reason it’s taken this long to get into VR is I had to find a way to stream to BOTH platforms at the same time.

We ran some tests this past weekend and if all goes well, the view from VRC will also be broadcast to Twitch and other channels. I’ll still be paying attention in the chat, so you can still join the fun from your desk, phone, or wherever 2D interaction is available.
