Pleased to introduce you to Rudy the rat. He's a very friendly, but also somewhat shy little fellow. :)

Rudy was made of a beautiful fabric, which is part mohair, part artificial silk (viscose). It's soft, smooth and feels realistic, with a nice, healthy shine. The white fur on his belly was made of super soft alpaca fabric. The ears, tail, hands and feet are made of wool felt. The tail has a pipecleaner inside, so it can be posed in various ways and acts as a balance for Rudy when he stands up. The special sand in his feet helps him stand even when the tail is off the ground. The rest of his body is stuffed with polyester fibrefill.

The eyes are made of black glass, and the eyelids and nose are made with needle-felting. The mouth and fingers were embroidered on. The tail and ears have some extra colour, made by Copic markers.

Rudy stands 15 cm (6 inch) tall.
