Dawn and Misty might've taken a wrong turn on their way to the set of Pokémon the Movie: Everyone's Story, so don't count on seeing them in the film later this year. Unfortunately for them, Shadow Lugia isn't nearly as nice as his less edgy counterpart. It's unlikely that either of them will be seen for quite some time, if ever again. These plush dolls are able to move on their own after draining a sufficient amount of strength from anyone who is unfortunate enough to come in direct physical contact with them. Their victims are placed into at best a blissful drowsy state and at worst a long slumber in their stomach cavity, kept asleep indefinitely by a powerful sleep-inducing mist (which they can also expel as an offensive weapon). Which fate a victim meets depends on the personality of the doll.

Needless to say, this particular Shadow Lugia has no intention of releasing his newly-caught friends anytime soon.
