Lyle Weller is a coyote, and British loyalty whom, technically, could claim to be a prince, though his dynasty has passed. He's a sweet, naive boy with a fanciful disposition and a detachment from the cynical parts of reality, having been sheltered by his guardian, Fenrir Petronax. He's an exchange student into a small American town named Gustfield, where he met Mack and Milo, the latter of which pretty much forced him into being his boyfriend.

Lyle, although an ordinary mortal, is able to evoke fairy tale tropes and the like, as animals, children, and other gentle and innocent things are drawn to him. He works at Fenrir's candy shop, and he performs ballet. To Milo's disgust, he has a lot of admirers, but he keeps his boyfriend from hurting them by acting as his conscience.
