The sphinx-like people of Harmakhis inhabit a corner of a mostly-desert continent where a river surfaces from a cavern and expands into a wide and fertile delta, making them well-suited to farming and herbalism. The abundance of food has given them time for leisure, and many Harmakhians like to discuss philosophy (or just try to stump each other with riddles) over mugs of beer.
This particular one is the master of the local branch of the Adventurers' Guild, overseeing who gets assigned which mission and how much of the Guild's income to spend on what. It's a calm desk job, but back in his adventuring days, he was a well-regarded healer and mystic, calling on the maginaria to give his friends the support they needed.
