Thank you very much!! I love hearing peoples interpretations of this painting. The story is a group of bandits in their den, and some news comes through the radio concerning their next target... or something like this, haha. Good news or bad news, it's worth all their attention.

The atmosphere and background. Couple (guests?) waking up to hear some news in a place appearing as if dug out of tree rooted ground. The lantern and radio speak of old tech or a world where tech isn't really that significant. A rather unique slice of life detail. Is there a backstory to this?
