~He felt his ears splay around the shape of Kaine's muzzle, gentle licks and nuzzles relaxing him even more, almost lulling him to sleep along with the steady rhythm of the husky's heart-beat and breath in his chest.

Kaine wagged his curly tail gently and hugged the fox's relaxed body close, keeping him warm and comfortable in his embrace while lightly grooming his head-fur and ears. He chuckled when he noticed Shawn's reaction to that, the quiet whimpers with each ear-lick and its corresponding twitch and flick was the most adorable thing the husky could remember witnessing in that moment. He decided to say as much, realizing that. "You're adorable, you know that?"

Shawn blushed and hugged his pillow-of-a-husky tighter. "And you're incredibly comfortable..." he mumbled quietly, though loud enough that he was sure Kaine heard him. Feeling the husky squeeze him tight for a moment in return made Shawn smile and let out a happy sigh. ~

This is a scene in a story I'm currently working on, and I felt that these two could use some visualization, now in color and stuff!
