After D1G1-P0T80 hacked into the tournament roster, the only option to get him off was to defeat him in single combat. Bravely, Thenyr decided that with his weapons and magic, he was the best choice to face off against and expel the roboroo from the fight. Unfortunately for him, his enemy's armor and electricity shielding proved tougher than anticipated...well. Maybe someone else will pick up the fight from here? Thenyr's going to be working with D1G1 now.

While I definitely can point to Animorphs as a significant influence on me in terms of entering furry and transformation(not necessarily in that order), before THAT, I was a heavy reader of the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series (I've still got over 100 issues underneath my bed), and went as Sonic for Halloween in two separate years. The Roboticization process they used in the SatAM TV series, as well as the comics, was very dark, and in retrospect I'm kinda surprised they managed to get it past the censors, seeing how it dealt with mind control, and later racism and other major moral lessons. It made me think, in other words, something that seems to do poorly in general in media, especially for children. Ah well...cest la vie.
