Recently, Nathan's wife Dawn was hospitalized with a strange disease that claimed many lives; it was unsure if she'd recover at all. Needless to say, Nathan was an emotional wreck the entire time and lived at the hospital while waiting for news.

Thankfully she recovered, partially due to an effort Nathan made himself.
