I was thinking about fairies another day and got myself thinking "why fairies have to be just human shaped beings?" or "why the mainly image for a fairy is a human shaped being?".

So I tought on drawing little animals as fairies since they're a lot closer and connected to nature than us, this one is the first one I did and it's a Autumn Fairy, I though in a squirrel for it because they store food for the winter during the autumn season, I think the fit well to the idea.

Little fairies have their duties in the nature's role, they color flowers, leaves, makes fruits grow and even give shape to the clouds. So I tough on these little Autumn Fairies making things go orange and yellow! They bring the Autumn to the world.

Just got a bit sad with the butterfly wing because I messed it heheh, I really like the drawing but it didn't got really like I wanted. At least it was a real good practice and I enjoed drawing it.

Done with Koh-I-Noor colored pencils and Faber Castell colored pencils.
