Is it true ninetales can live up to 1000 years?

Malachi: Why yes it is my dear, but me? I am capable of living well beyond that lifespan. I can live as long as I see fit. though I do have my limits, I am still able to die from serious injury or tragedy as any normal animal would. The only things that will change about me aging is my size, my power and wisdom.
