I'm still slowly working on this while I work on other things. I decided to try to emulate the background of the pic this was based off of by tacokurt and render the animation (which took 18 hours). There are still clipping issues and no sound, but I hope you enjoy anyway.
Speaking of "no sounds", the final animation will follow the exact timing of this one, so if anyone wants to create a sound track for this, contact me and I can send you the video file to work with.

Oh wow! I remember seeing the last WIP of this awhile ago (and I guess this one's been out for awhile by the time I noticed it, haha!)
It's looking great! Especially love all the play with facial expressions and such at the beginning. The use of Sol's tail all through is excellent too. Good stuff, all around!
