The subject here is Metus, along with her thoughts -- hence the title. I don't like how some of it came out but this was my third attempt at this verse (I'll post any and all unused ideas after ;)). She's questioning herself, maybe thinking over her life choices. Did she make the right decision by leaving home? Did she do the right thing by her lover (whom shall remained unnamed but if you've gone through my gallery you've found him).
