"What are you doing back here?"

Riley's tone came out genuine, and they were grateful for it. They were curious, certainly, but a part of them still didn't trust Leslie. The ryno turned to face them, a soft smile on his face, and a violin in his hand.

Curious.

"Hello again!" Leslie called across the cavern. "Lovely acoustics in here, aren't they? I came to appreciate them a bit!"

Riley nodded, a bit confused but willing to take the statement at face value, when a violin case slid to their feet.

"I almost forgot," Leslie continued. "I seem to have an extra."

"I can't," Riley unfastened the latch on the case anyways, slowly opening it. "I'm huge, I'd crush it. Yours looks too small on you, even."

They opened the case to find an extra-long bow inside, as well as a package containing claw extensions - perfect for ham-like hands to get some extra precision. Across the cave, Leslie sat up straight, playing a jaunty fiddle tune on his own instrument, a pillow wrapped around his neck to support it. Several expressions crossed Riley's face, but they simply mouthed a 'thank you' and gently took the violin in trembling, too-big claws...
