okay so like. A couple nights ago I had this dream that I had this super cool character and it was SUPER VIVID when I woke up... so I tried to recreate it as best as I could 0:

In the dream they were a hybrid between a couple existing closed species but like... they don't actually make sense as either species, omg. I think that was my brain trying to put a familiar name to them instead of making up something new is all. Made sure not to actually copy the traits from those species just in case, of course. <: I don't want Hyde here to be an offbrand, so I made sure to work only with their unique traits from the dream. IMO they came out really good??

They produce goo from various spots on their body and can cause the goo production to go into overdrive, in that mode it totally covers their body and acts as a gelatinous armor. Whatever causes them to be able to do that creates a glow from their innards and blood, they're very warm when in goo armor mode as a result! Their fur is oily and water-resistant, so the excess goo just slides right off when not needed.
