So flightrising.com, the bug-ridden pixel pet site currently in closed beta(?), has a fairly simple turn-based combat minigame. You start out fighting moths and butterflies and work your way up to more srs business monsters and creatures.
IDK about anyone else, but the idea of dragons being occasionally defeated by a sufficient force of Leafy Moths at level one has always struck me as deeply hilarious. HOW DO YOU FAIL AT MOTH-FIGHTING. THEY CAN'T EVEN BITE. The solution, of course, is the entomophobia intrinsic to all dragons. I imagine them squeezing their eyes closed, crying and flailing, occasionally hitting each other for +10 damage, until they work up the nerve to actually face moths directly (at about level 4).
The coliseum game shows all dragon sprites the same size, even though fae dragons are about the size of cats, and guardian dragons are the size of elephants. It's not unreasonable to assume that monster sprites aren't to scale either... but I kinda think that three dragons fighting off two moths is funny even if the moths are the size of Volkswagens. XD

Oh goodness xD
Maybe the moths are gigantic beasts. But your theory is much more interesting xD
