These guys typically live on the beaches of South Africa, where they're facing heavy competition for food from fisheries. Their young are venturing into further and further waters every generation in search of fish, leaving them more susceptible to predation from orcas and seals. Yet another cute animal that's hella endangered.

The Long Island aquarium was asked to adopt this particular burb, along with several others, when some guy tried to smuggle them into the country through the airport a few years ago.

Yes, we did get to pet him. They are insanely soft. :3
His also took a shit and it deadass made that cartoon "poot" noise, which was pretty hilarious.
