man o’ war’s aren’t jellyfish, but siphonophores. They’re bodies are actually a colony of many specialized individual animals called zooids. I wanted to make her more segmented to reflect this, but she already has a lot going on design wise.

i listened to a lot of Die Antwoord while drawing her so i decided she loves them.
