Another creation right from FyreDraygg and I own setting!
Ysenaar comes from the planet Azuria and are happy little photosynthetic creatures which love to sing and basking under the suns' light. Commonly known as "azurian gryphons", their gentle and benevolent nature makes of them eccelent pets, a role most of them happily accept. Their body is mostly made of silica crystals and appears to be slightly transparent, a camouflage adaptation when they fly high into the sky. Some Ysenaar can't fly and have adapted wings as extra photosynthetic membranes to camouflage as plants. They come in very wide variety of different colours, patterns and shapes! To us humans, Ysenaar look goofy and curious~ They also don't possess a mouth, but can elongate their tongue outside: at its tip it has a teeth they use to piece the tree bark and drink the fluids inside.
 
I got the idea for Ysenaar's concept around two years ago and only later decided they really needed their own species reference!
