bonbon goes by any pronoun-- they are basically akin to a barbie or ken doll underneath, as child companion models are, they come without any genitals so they can't be sexually abused (though some ppl want child companions to keep as children and it's a preventative measure taken)

they are most commonly rented out to ian who gets an attachment to them like a younger sibling and kinda considers bonbon his own even though he's not? so technically, they lack the attachment normal companions would have towards their true master, but bonbon is already really affectionate so it's not like anyone would notice a huge difference anyways? and ian sure can't so it's not really a problem with them specifically-- but that may not be the case for other companions that are rented out for company or their services!

bonbon has an oven in their chest cavity specifically made for pastries! a lot of the maid companions will be based off ovens or cleaning stuff or the like w/ a maid theme and their specialty is baking, but they don't do very much bc ian starts renting them out for companionship and company over expecting them to keep up their services, so bonbon is a little spoiled as a result but they're not bratty, just overly sweet and attached!
