• You can buy the design of one of them or order a custom-made one (the option of making a self-made design on base of the model will be available later).
• You are free to come up with a name, develop your own story and personality (but without breaking the canons).
• You always can make minor changes in the colors, add little things (like scars).

IT'S PROHIBITED

• You can't make your own Holf without my permission. They are closed species. Every single Holf is registered, you will get your unique personal number.
• You are not allowed to assign the authorship.
• You can't make significant changes in the design or change general body structure, because this will break the canons of the species.

• You can't resell them. Though the Holf can be gifted to another person, but this way you must tell me about the new owner.

• Under any art, where Holf is figured, please make a link to my profile, that will say that Holf species belong to me.

SPECIES INFORMATION.

HABITAT
Holves have adapted to almost any environmental conditions. They occupy all Terra from tropical forests to arctic deserts.

LIFE CIRCLE
Holves are born completely blind. They become able to see, when they are 4 month old. When it happens, foals already can move and gather for food by themselves. Then their parents don't keep being so close to them and from that moment older members of the herd take care of foals (though there parents don't stop loving them).
First year of their life holves have pale pastel colors of fur, then starts the period of intensive maturation and adult animal can become very bright.
When the youth grow up, they leave their old herd and come together into small groups. When two holves fall in love with each other :heart: they can stay with the group and continue wandering or join the big herd with more veteran animals to make a family. It's easier to grow progeny with elder, more experienced congeners, because the hole herd takes care of foals.
More often holves have only one partner during the life and make progeny in mature age.
Holf species has long life duration and have excellent health. When their time comes to an end, they age literally in a half of the year an die.

DOMINATION
Horse-wolves live in a small groups or big herds. In herds the power belongs to the mare-matriarch, who never has a mate or foals. On the other hand in the groups, that consists of youth the strongest stallions rule.
In dominating battles holves use there teeth and leg spurs.

DIET
Their teeth are big and strong, though they are not carnivore. Teeth are used for self-protaction and chewing roughage. Their diet consist mainly of fruits and berries, but when famine comes they can feed themselves with bark and roots.

DOMESTICATION
Holves are very strong and hardy animals. But they can't live in captivity at all and die soon. They can't be subordinated.

ADDITIONAL INFO
There are several known kinds of holves. They differ in sizes and physical parameters, depending on the habitat.
They believe in the Great Sun Cycle and worship the sun.
They can make sounds similar to something between the wolf's howl and neighing.
They take carnivore animals as "gravers", that clean the kind from sickness, and despise them, thinking that predators poison their bodies with rotten flesh.
Holves have legends, tales and "unbreakable" laws.
