This is my half of a trade with Radosbadger on DA.
As I began to brainstorm ideas for my depiction of Rados, I thought long and hard about all of the possibilities. I knew that he was creative and a craftsman (Crafts-badger?), so he would need to show off his skills! Rados' art style is one of the most distinguishable styles I know on DA and has always reminded me of the Impressionists. This past year in my Art History courses, we went in-depth in Impressionism and the term En plein air stuck with me. In it's simplest form, it is the act of starting and completing a painting while outdoors. The Impressionists were the first to utilize this term; however, they were not the first to paint outdoors, just the first to begin and finish entire paintings while outside. I figured since I loosely associate Rados' style with Impressionism, it would be fun to make him the Impressionist painter!
Unlike, I assume, any of the Impressionists, Rados has taken to painting a reclining nude anthro coyote! There is no significance in the coyote, just the first animal to came to mind when brainstorming. I find it's best to listen to your mind in those situations :)
