Months passed as the creature continued to live in peace, unbothered by the world. That was - until one cold October morning the creature heard a noise unlike most from outside of his dwelling. He crept up the second floor stairway of the abandoned hospital he now called home and looked out of the cracks in the wood of a boarded off window. Much to his dismay he saw a hunter looking over the area surrounding his dwelling, seemingly looking for something.

"It doesn't look like there's been anyone around here for decades - there's got to be some great game here! Now... where to place my cam?" The hunter walks around for a while more until he finds a suitable spot facing partially towards the creature's new home. "There we go. Heck, now I'll know if there's any good game in, OR around that old junk building! Man, there's gotta be some good ol' biggins way out here! I'm sure to get another trophy for anything I pull back from way out this way!" With that, the hunter, now content whistles to himself and pridefully walks back into the woods - back to wherever it is he originally came from.

The creature continued to watch until the hunter was long gone, then crept back down the stairs, and back into his basement where he stayed - pondering his next actions. "Silly hunter thinks he's going to take my food? Silly hunter thinks he's going to bring others here for trophy game? Silly hunter. Silly hunter will not disturb me. Content here I am. Don't want to move again! Want to be left alone with silence! Why is silly hunter trying to ruin my quiet place? Silly hunter will get his trophy. Silly hunter will be quiet. Silly hunter will have hunt of his life. Silly hunter must come alone. Must WANT to come alone. Silly hunter must have reason to come alone. I give silly hunter a reason to come alone. I am greatest trophy. Silly hunter will come alone."

Darkness eventually falls over the forest, and with that the creature slinks out of the hospital through a large hole in the back wall, and does his rounds. On his way back he stops, looking in the way of the trail camera that the hunter had left, and walks directly in front of it. He then looks directly at it, bearing his massive teeth, thick saliva dripping from his gnarly gums. He waves to the camera, making sure to show all of his long, razor sharp claws, and slinks off slowly into his sanctuary once more...
The next morning, the hunter returns for his camera and looks around the quiet area once again, seemingly glowing in the idea of his yet to be success at bringing back trophy game from his upcoming hunt. He takes his camera back to his home and begins going through the footage from the motion sensor. A few small critters ran about, a few bats flew by, and the hunter began to get disappointed. He began to get up from his chair when he saw the camera flick on again, but this time something large was approaching! He sat down quickly, looking intently at what the large game was that was coming up to the camera's eye! As it became closer, the hunter's eyes widened with awe at the monstrous creature that stood there on his screen. He paused the screen and took a long, hard look at the sight at 2:51 the morning before. "My lord what IS that? I've never seen anything quite like it! I'm going to find out, and I'm going to have it mounted in the center of my trophy case! It seems to be nocturnal, and it seems to react to light, or else I guess it wouldn't have seen the camera... I'll set out tomorrow and snag this beast! There will be nothing better on record to dethrone game like that! Hm.... if I take anyone with me... they may take the glory for themselves... NO! I'm going to surprise the world with THIS kill! I'm going ALONE!" So the hunter began gathering his things for the next night's hunt...
Meanwhile, back at the abandoned hospital, the creature had began preparing a hunt of his own...
