A continuation to the picture idea/submission linked below for Kiri and Irik, and the whole of them being stuck together, with Irik on the outside, and now in his own body. (Just not of his own free will, kinda.) For however long it takes to sort out Irik's situation, and what Reikai wants to do with him, with his long-ass list of crimes for well over 1000 years, and considering what punishment to give him besides death...Let's just say I wanted to try a route where him and Kiri aren't constantly at each other's throats as much. With fighting, blood shed, and the like with him wanting her dead so he can move on, and get a new body on his own terms.

He has a glamour/disguise to keep him human looking to most 'sightless' humans, while being forced to work the human occupation of package delivery service by vehicle, (Though sometimes paranormal goods and hilarity ensues.), and Kiri to keep an eye on him while trying to deal with her own half of human life. Since they're literally bound together 24/7. He cant leave the human world, and cant hurt/kill her unless he wants the ring on his tail to constrict and make Irik himself defenseless or worse. Point is, they actually start bonding a little, kinda like Frenemies?...Still trying to describe it in my head to myself too, since I never really thought about them getting along before, much. It happens without either of them realizing it, but being forced to live together, has inevitably allowed them to get along in some way or form. They both interact with less venom, and wanting to punch each other in the face than before...Everything changes, albeit a little slowly at first.

They find themselves acting more like room mates/friends, and Irik still finds ways to get entertainment+food from torturing her in his own ways, in order to feed off the negative energy, but its less bodily and mentally harmful. Unlike before when he was in her body as a Soul Parasite, coupled with his Host. (He is able to eat human food with his new body, but its just not as 'nutritious' as spiritual/emotional/mental/etc energy.) There will come a point in time where his 'fate' is decided by Reikai and he's taken, and torn away from Kiri completely, but until that happens, well...He might even find himself not wanting to leave the woman that he used to loathe being apart of, alone without him, or to herself. And as much as he might loathe to admit it, being friends with her in the slightest, might not be so bad after all? For all he knows she might come to defend and fight for his right to live too.

In the pic above, they're just enjoying a day out in the park. Any human that passes by might not see Irik's more demonic form, but hey if they have the time off and its a nice day outside, might as well suffer in the nice weather together, right? Better than bitching at each other to go get some sunlight, or one dragging the other outside by the 'invisible' tail, so to speak lol. Kiri probably had a song stuck in her head, and started humming it to herself, though its hard to tell if Irik is alright with it, or this close to asking her to stop so they can listen to nature in peace. They're a really sassy/name-calling/on and off passive aggressive fighting friendship at least...Not perfect, but better than before. There's still issues with him, when he's around Kiri's friends both canon and OC alike/or 'romantic interests,' with YYH characters included. As well as a certain red-haired, older sibling he very much dislikes, Kraven, and his older sister Yami though he gets along with her better.

(All in all, I've been really, really wanting to touch up on these two. Even if its not the old, original story, and where the ending is still more bloody and violent, and depending on that ending also resulting in Keuras. An AU of sorts, but to be honest I might even consider this an alternate ending, more than an alternate universe altogether. Its time I drew more of them and added more growth to their story that very much needed the touch up, so, I hope in a way this does them justice for now, until I can draw more, whenever I get the chance to, to express it. And hopefully in this alternate story line, Kiri has a chance at a slightly more normal life too with less chaos and end-of-the-world-bullshit to deal with or help save XD;; )

-Keuras is the version of Kiri where she becomes a Soul Parasite herself, due to her connections with Irik, and however he changes her from it. Or what he does to her, etc.

-The outfit Irik is wearing, is a new casual look I wanted to try and give him. He still gets the fancy fur collar with his coat, a turtleneck underneath that's tucked into his high-waist jeans with a belt more 90s style. He wears the boots with slight heels, and he has a bead/orb necklace thingy which he also uses to store energy in, to feed off of. (In case his host isnt home for him to use as a food-supply. Or he's away from her and their shared home or apartment, etc.) Hair is tied back into a tie, but he normally lets it hang loose, unless he needs to keep it tamed in a tie for work too.

-With the song/links below, I never knew why I didnt consider it before, but while listening to it, I oddly think that the song fits Irik and Kiri in some way. I cant put it into words much, but in my head it makes more sense xD;;
