Either way it would be the first time Rene kisses Wal (probably not the last). But wouldn't particularly be the start of their something of a relationship sorta flip flopping between romance or sexual interaction. Wal's not that easy lol

but again, this is in reference to Rene taking care of Wal after him and Mich were beating the shit out of each other after Wal found out Mich slept with Jovan.

(the whole Jovan thing is touchy and messy with Wallace. They met as kids at the beginning of their Pkmn journey's. Wallace ended up developing romantic feelings for her, only to later find out she's his half-sister and they have the same mother XD;)
