Observation Notes: This subject had hardly finished drinking when he fell, his legs warped into tentacles first, followed by his arms. New limbs either split from the arms, or grew from his sides. Subject appears angry, and is headed not for the water environment room as expected, but for the observation deck instead. Perhaps the Giant octopus was not an excellent choice for this experiment.

Addendum: Subject broke out of the room and into the sanctum, destroying the observation deck. The subject’s increased brain mass and dexterity is creating havoc on an unprecedented scale.

Addendum 2: Subject was captured and released into the ocean, it is unknown if the serum will wear off as intended, or if it will breed a race of hyper intelligent super squids. In the event of the proliferation of cephalopod ascendency, activate contingency plan to blame global warming.
