As Bluestar sinks deeper into the water, she recalls the memories of the deaths of her loved ones.

First came her mother, Moonflower, who died during a raid at WindClan, where she was trying to destroy their medicine supplies. She was killed by Hawkheart, the WindClan medicine cat.

Then came her sister Snowfur, who was fatally hit by a monster while crossing the Thunderpath as she chased after some ShadowClan warriors. Snowfur had been too excited to fight with her sister, especially after it had went so well, because she was confined to the nursery for so long, having to take care of Whitekit.

After this came Mosskit, who froze and died while she was sleeping during a break when Bluestar, at this time Bluefur, was bringing the kits across the border so she could give them to her mate, Oakheart. She was giving them to Oakheart because if she didn't, Thornclaw would become deputy instead of her, and she believed that was bad for her clan. On the way back, Bluefur buries Mosskit, because she couldn't bear leaving her alone, as food for foxes.

Finally came Oakheart, who was crushed by a falling rock during a battle between ThunderClan and RiverClan for Sunningrocks. Bluestar was not present here, but she did hear the news of his death from Tigerclaw, though it wasn't the real story.

Hey guys! It's been awhile since I drew something, considering I've been busy. I believe I got one or two more bug bites near my joint again, so this is entirely drawn with my fingers, so it might be pretty crappy. I dunno. I put A LOT of work into this, since i have no freaking layers, so I had to draw the background and then draw everything else. I couldn't erase at the memories part, since that would make the translucent part of the memory background disappear, and if I reapplied it, it would go over the other parts and make those part more opaque. I had done up to Mosskit's death when I realized i didn't put Bluestar's extra fur on her forehead. I would've gotten rid of it on when she was drowning, but that made her up there look like trash. So I undo-ed as far back as i could.. and lo and behold, it stopped undo-ing at Moonflower's death. So yes, I am fully aware that Bluepaw doesn't have her forehead fur in that picture. Please refrain from posting comments that point this out. Ah, what else is there to say.. Oh yes, those bubbles are the prettiest thing I've ever drawn in my whole life. As a reward for reading all of this, I will clarify that Moonflower's stripes are colored in, and her wounds are not. I know it's a terrible reward. Sorry.
