I've been growing older.
I've been feeling myself in ways I never have before.
The feeling of wanting to go back
to a place that never felt like home.
But I've come to learn
that in the eye of that storm
was everything that means
the most to me.
A poem I wrote last year that can also be found on my DA and FA. Describes me pretty well. I hate the feeling of growing older. The feeling of getting farther and farther away from everything you knew and grew to love and appreciate so much more, even if it wasn't ideal. It's really sad when you feel that way at only 19.
