This was sketched out during a college lecture a couple years ago, but I always loved how it turned out despite not having any references.

This is the style of dragon I like to portray in stories I write that involve my character and her world. They have short legs, a deep chest, high dexterity in the paws, and very short tails. There are vertical and horizontal arrays of sturdy fins on the neck, back and tail that help with flight.
