I'm really proud of this one, I am starting to get a hang of the shading so i don't need so many freaking layers just for it to still look flat xD

So I did hugely change up the over all design of both of the creatures in this image, the reptile i first changes its outfit to white sense that makes a bit more sense if you're living in a desert,and i gave it a bit more reptile/dragonish anatomy.
And then the gomlemy thingy, i pretty much redesigned it completely, while keeping a couple key things like the red eyes,big hands,headlessness.

While drawing this I came up with a faint story around that giant golem thingy:

Long ago an unknown race created this giant protector to protect them from a terrible beast that was prophesied to attack them. Eventually that beast came and fought with the golem, causing mass destruction to the races homes and habitat forcing the one ones that survived to flea into hiding and over all disappear. During the battle the Golem lost its head and after it won the battle it began searching for its head and just wandered aimlessly looking for it, destroying anything underfoot or in its path in its search. Eventually it had wandered into the desert, where these reptilian creatures live and has become notorious amongst them for destroying villages and the Oaisys that they surround.

I believe i started this tuesday... late at night tho or else i would of gotten it done much sooner XD
Im also really liking this kind of BG style, i think i may try and stick with it for a little and see how it turns out!
