This is a view of the Edenic void's physical trait from space.

Due to the constart bombardment of nearby stars, and possible contact with Nebula's, the Entrance to the Edenic void is constantly changing in shape and oddity.

It does so to filter out elements that it deems to hazardous for it's own stability. When the shape of the Void is clean and crisp, it is currently stable and inside the astral plane, weather and all related associates are calm.

When the shape becomes crude and irregular as pictured, the void is in the process of ridding itself of unwanted or excess energy that is threatening it's foundation, leading to natural disasters or severe weather within the plane housing it's sentients.

From this view it is theoretically possible for physical beings to travel through the cloud seen here and into the astral lands themselves. However, this comes at great risk, given it's ever changing nature, which could threaten ships and crews.

It is always advised to keep a Barometer of sorts aboard any ship wishing to take such a risk as such a device will help keep the ship from the more unstable parts of the cloud.
