Bobby is a wildcat cub, born just last season with the other spring cubs. He likes rolling in the grass and the sound of summer cicadas. As soon as he was old enough to go outside his mother's den to play. The den was cool and earthy, and the roots of a tree poked through the ceiling, holding up the hill above he close-dug little niche his mother had dug. When he opened his eyes, days after he was born, the first thing he saw was the bright white glow of the cave-mouth, gentle fingers of grass waving at him in greeting. He couldn't wait until he was old enough to go out there. When the day finally came, the sun was so warm and bright, and the grass was soft and fresh. A butterfly floated by in the early summer sun, glittering like a jewel. Bobby's fiery red eyes glittered as he took in the world outside his mother's den, laughed, and ran off across the fields with his brothers and sisters.

Bobby Cat is soft and cuddly plush with no sculpted parts or skeleton. However, he is poseable, and can sit or stand, and has a short length of wire in his tail so he can curl it. He has little pink fleece pawpads inset into his feet. The black and spotted parts are medium-pile soft faux fur, and the brown and white parts are a much longer pile, and even softer. He's stuffed with standard polyester stuffing. His eyes are done with heat-applied decals, like for designing shirts, placed onto white felt. He's just under three feet long from nose to tail. Bobby Cat was named by Aflie14 when I asked for name idea on one of my WIP posts.
