Cutebold Cheif Jrufrolmer and his wife Fibrilis

Abbi Normal

Jrufrolmer was the chief of my first game of Kobold Camp years ago. He took a wife early in the game, Fibrilis, who if I recall was also from the original seven, and they were just adorable together. Their pets played together. When they did engraving duties, the frescoes were of each other. It was a pretty great fort for a while, built on both sides of a river with high bridges over the water, with caverns running all around the map. Eventually, the elves got mad, and as kobolds all we could really do about it was hole up as hard as we could in the caverns and buckle down for a siege. We waited one out, but the next time the season came, so did the elves, and that time we basically all died trapped in the tunnels. Near the end, there were a few attempts to run outside the fortifications and back for food and water, but none of the scavenging parties ever returned. There were a lot of other more pleasant stories though, before The Coming of the Elves; for a long time the camp was practically idyllic.

Other characters included a kobold child named Gleebus who was made an artifact totem when he was the equivalent of about 6. It was made of gems and bones, and a temple was built to house it. He went on to carve arrows for the standing army, and become himself an accomplished archer, and one time, he even Killed An Elf Once before he died. He was the last one standing after The Coming of the Elves, after the Chief finally went to join Fibrilis.

Another was a bold named Fubleegus, who started life as a carpenter. He was the world carpenter ever, would get injured again basically as soon as he was he was off of bed rest. He was the laughing stock of the camp, always stopping work from getting done and getting under foot no matter which buildings he was sent to work on. One day, a carp moved into the waterways around the camp, the one and only carp. It injured the usual fisherbold, and Fubleegus was sent to replace him. Fubleegus was great at fishing, and never fell in or anything, and when he met the water ways' lone carp, he chased it up and down the banks throwing things at it with a sling until it died. This chase took days and days, of these two locked in an Ahab and The Whale death struggle.

They're made of soft plush using various materials like fleeces and felts. The arms and legs contain wire to make them poseable.
