This is an experimental idea inspired by a story I have on the back burner. It's related to "The Girl on the Bus Wears Too Much Perfume". In so many words, it's an electronic eye looking at the world around it from a mathmatical/technical way. The binary says, "Indistinguishable from Magic".

This somewhat-mentally ill guy named Calvin Evander who's the world's premier tech guy. Calvin works for the Vulpus Corporation. Vulpus is a massive octopus of a manufacturing and media conglomerate with its fingers in every pie you can imagine. Calvin, having the highest access to every piece of tech in the building, stumbles on seedy shit that Vulpus Corp. is in to. They tell him to drop it. He doesn't. Long story short, they need him alive because of his skills, but to teach him a lesson, Vulpus sends thugs to rough him up, and they end up taking out his eye. Calvin designs himself a replacement eye, that's electronic with the power to control machines and electronic signals and connect to networks and systems and travel through them, etc and goes to his friend, who's just finishing a lifetime of school to be a neurosurgeon, to have him install it. Calvin, being essentially chaotic good, so to speak, uses this power to unravel and fight the full conspiracy of the Vulpus corporation. He's not a super-hero, exactly, and it's probably not much of an action story. It's more like a cyber-punk vigilante kind of thing. And when he's "working", he goes by Citizen. Hence the title....
