This guy has been through quite a few changes from when I first created him.

The first one, the original picture of him from 2009, was pasted in after all the other drawings. I didn't have it at first and it wasn't colored by me. The second one was suppose to be the first design drawn from memory because I didn't have the picture at the time- so that's what all the confusion is about. I had, in my mind, based him of a beetle which is where he got his name from because I couldn't think of a real name for him and it just stuck.

2010- SHIT HAPPENS and that first brief design is re-hauled majorly. Decided to base him off a tarantula hawk wasp instead. I think I gave him real name though i can't remember it for the life of me. Beatle is still his nickname however

2011- GOT TWEAKED A BIT. Was updated within this year to fit within the updated species guidelines, making him look less retarded that what I came up with in the first place. Still based off a Tarantula hawk wasp but got lightened him up a bit as a throwback to his lighter original colors.

He has an even newer official design now that you'll need to go to my Deviantart to see [unless I post it here] but this picture sums up his design evolution pretty nicely.
