Tail and ear set for   kamanikins!

Looks deceptively simple, but it really wasn't! The fur is custom dyed (not airbrushed or painted, actually dyed) into 4 shades, and we also dyed fleece to match. It looks good in the end, but it took absolutely forever, and I doubt anyone would be willing to pay enough for us to ever undertake this again, now that we know just how much work it takes. But, I'm glad we did it this once, and I love this set. The gradient is so beautiful and subtle, but of course my camera hates anything close to white so it washed the tail out something crazy. Sigh.

On another note, these are one of my favourite sets of ears ever! The plugs are actual ear plugs and have screw on backs, so they're interchangeable for other plugs if she wants to.
