That series of panels with Matoaka dancing were difficult, but legit fun. Gotta appreciate that booty sway!

Even though most Pokemorphs have the mental capacity to resist the influence of others (they tend to be more durable in all fronts), there’s a stigma for Psychic types using their power to manipulate other people (think of it being as far off the moral event horizon as bloodbending in Avatar: the Last Airbender), so it’s generally not something that happens. Matoaka is more than aware of this stigma, so even if Dean Powalski had seen through her, she likely wouldn’t have used her powers anyway - she’s too much of a sweetheart.

And fuck visiting the guidance councilor. Who needs that shit when you can go right for the throat yourself, yeah?
