Something a little different! My spaniel character Brynn, in needle felt form. :)

A while back I was dealing with some severe art block with my sculpting. To help get me through it, I decided to try my hand at a craft I hadn't done in a few years, needle felting! I remember now why I don't do needle felts very often, they are so time consuming. >< I think I spent over 30 hours total working on this piece. In the end I am pretty happy with how she came out though. The only thing that bugs me is that I didn't have a good second color for her spots, but I think it works okay, still.

Brynn measures 8.5in long from nose to tail, and 3in tall. She has a wire armature for mild poseability. Her eyes and nose are polymer clay that has been painted and glazed.
