Bolt by CGIbeast

Bolt

CGIbeast

This is the second of two projects I made in my Gr. 11 high school manufacturing class back in 2011. I made the bolt using the lathe, milling machine, and the surface grinder. I did my best to wet sand and polish all the rust off the dice so I could get some better pictures of it.
The dice is my first project.
Measurements: Bolt head and nut are 1.5" long, and 1.67" diameter on the sides, with a bolt length of 4.820". So it is really a nice big paperweight.

Ya that class was so fun :) I'm actually looking at getting a desktop lathe in the summer to help bend my chainmaille rings. (as one use of many)
