Kite info sheet

Clear-Jello

This sheet includes the rarer, superior branch of Kites, the Divines.

  • Red stuff is Kite-specific (except for the arms, hands, legs, and feet portion which is for both)
  • Blue stuff is Divine-specific

Divine Kites are called Divine because the other Kites revere them as messengers of their deity. Divine Kites live longer when healthy than other Kites, but they're unfortunately even more physically fragile than the other ones and often die giving birth... and, sadly, more often than not, the offspring are stillborn, so there're very few of them. Divine Kites do have an advantage of being able to fly higher and stay up in the air much longer without proper oxygen supply. Some can even stay up there for days just traveling on thermals and updrafts.

Anyway! I said I'd put out some legit information for them, so here it is. :> I'll likely link back to this whenever I post a Kite from now on. ^^

Kites are a closed species that belongs entirely to me. You do not have my permission to make one. You can get one by buying and adopting one I've already made or buying a custom from me if they're open at the time, which you can find out by messaging me for now.

ooh i was waiting for this! V This species is so cool I'm so glad I got to draw one onceughguhg/// I wish I could afford one hngnh. Question though, can divine traits and regular traits be mixed???

:U Not usually. Their genetics are a little different. The Divines were around long before the normal Kites, and their genetics are kind of outdated in comparison. Though if a Kite ever un-cinched its tail, it'd look like a very basic version of a Divine tail, and I could probably see normal Kites developing the decorative tail ribbons, but most of the other traits wouldn't cross over.

omg is it possible for a kite to un-cinch it's tail?? they're flesh bows I thought they were part of them- omg.

It'd be painful and a little bloody, but yes. XD They can un-cinch their tails. They can't cinch them back up, though, afterwards. D; It's a permanent change.

It may not leave scars, but it might leave little holes and tatters in it, yeah. ;u; And some of them wanna be closer to their godlike cousins? idk ;A; Depends on the Kite I suppose! ahhh
