You can link usernames by putting username without the space between them :) It will look like this: username. You can also do username to just have the name; username.

... why is Username an actual account? ... okay then.

    balls xD Um ![username](user:username should work then, just add the end parenthesis. Based on my comment preview, I can't actually type another parenthesis or my entire text past ! gets deleted.
    If it's just the name you're trying to tag, I think it's [](user:username with parenthesis but I might be wrong. Preview worked correctly, but last time I thought it was correct I messed up the comment so...
    I don't know what causes the %20 thing though D: Maybe mixing two of the codes accidentally?
