God. I think all of us have had one of those conversations where we're stressed as hell but trying to keep the person on the other side of the line calm, it's such an awful feeling.

I want to comment on every one of these with how lovely they are, but I'm afraid I'd just be repeating myself over and over. You have a real eye for capturing emotion in simple, relatively quick pieces like this. This one in particular has always been one of my favorites.

I think about this one sometimes out of the blue because it's just such an accurate depiction of that feeling of being stressed and scared but being the one taking charge and taking care of others. The expressions so beautifully ring true.

All of them ring true, but this one is especially powerful for some reason.
