This is Nym. Grey domestic cat of indeterminate breed with even a bit of lynx blood in his heritage. He's a friend of Koda, whom he's indebted to for some reason he hasn't shared yet. Koda isn't a city-dweller, Nym's the one who knows the contacts, the gossip, the places to go and cats to see for information, who to seek out and who to avoid, who to bribe and who to exchange favors with. It's kept Koda out of trouble on more than one occasion.

He's wickedly intelligent, he's a thief, (with ethics), a merchant, a spy, a broker of information, a seeker of treasures and an adept fencer in formal fashion...he's many things. In one instance, he'd posed as a performer, a sleek feline dancer, to get closer to a ruler's private conversations. And when he did, he found something unexpected.

He's very good at it, he's a natural, and he enjoys it.

Will that become his primary profession? Of course not, he enjoys the game of the streets and formal courts far too much. It's just one more skill to add to the many this sharp-minded cat's got.

He's definitely keeping that gold, though. Koda thinks it's showy. Lynxes are just stoic that way.
