He gave me a generous deadline and total freedom, plus I didn't have much to do, so I decided to try being extra and trying out backgrounds again.
Decided to go for something somewhat fantasy themed again. Some sort of Oasis Shaman :)

This is hands down my new best and target standard.

I even got it featured on Furry Amino! It got 2.5k likes dayum (barely any comments sadly as usual) I got 3 people asking about commissions just from posting it though c:

As superficial as those numbers seem, I gotta admit when I beat them I feel a bit worried I won't be able to surpass or meet the new standards I expect of myself for a bit afterwards.
Especially like now when I think it's legit very good myself.
Basically still freaking out about it, but I think I finally accept my pixelart is straight up better than my digital tbh imho c:
