Design I had made for a challenge in a group I'm a member of over on dA. We had to use four themes in the design, a gold accessory, the color green, scales, and plants.

My design is a domesticated kirin. I guess some sorta local folklore would be that you can only tame a kirin by putting a golden bridle on it(ps that's not really part of the myth I'm just making this part up for fun) so that it calms down and is willing to follow you home. Kirins still can't be ridden even if domesticated, but they can be used to carry small loads. Kirins kept more as companions and pets rather than for work will often have little saddles on them with flower baskets to grow plants in, like a walking garden. Even if the myth for using a golden bridle isn't true, owners will still often adorn the tack with golden jewelry and such. This particular kirin has a golden chime bell and studs on its bridle as well as some golden plates on its sadle.
