When you live in the desert, there's not going to be much you can do to quench your thirst and stay cool... except find a nice big slice of watermelon to bite into.

I thought this pic was ruined because I didn't work on it correctly, but instead of scrapping it, I tried to salvage it. I spent way too much time on it to let it all go to waste; whoever sees it now can decide if it was saved or not. I just wanted to draw a fox eating watermelon, who knew it'd get so involved.

Now I know just how much effort it is to paint a fully lineless image; I'll think twice next time!
