His father was the talented Mao Weida ( 貓偉達 ) who along with his brother were fishermen before they were employed in Qiang Ye's ( 強野 ) forces. He formied a cavalry troop with his white hippocampus that he got when he was seventeen, but lose it in a battle to a general of Ao Jun ( 敖君 ). Seeing that his nephew was mountless, Mao Fu ( 貓富 ) employed a giant horse lady who he kept to sleep with who is only know as Ma Liang ( 馬良 ) as his new ride/bodyguard in his troop. Observing that both forces were exhausted, Weida threw a banquet with a general of Ao Jun, Shu Su ( 鼠蘇 ) in hopes to make peace, but was killed by Su's poisoning of his drink causing Wang to swear vengeance, but died from the flood before he had the chance to.

After his death, his spirit lived on in the form of a wrath warrior searching around East Stumazu for the head of Shu Su leaving a trail of destruction. He encounter a demon of Diyu who told him that Su was threw into Hell leading him to an audience to the Jade Emperor to serve under him to keep him in check. He fought with his bodyguard, the daughter of Shui Su and a warrior who was with Liang in her own battle eventually forming a quartet of guardian deities know as the The Four Pillars of Zhong Xin ( 中新的四大支柱 ).
