A couple of sketches Merlin did at the hospital, of kangaroos in armour. There's also one of Steve in his racing gear which I might do later, but there's a couple more I have my eyes on too.

On the left we have Keith, an Eastern Grey. Keith is actually the manager of a restaurant, but in a rough area, hence the COTS body armour. He shows up in 'Dark Lord Rising', and may be a recurring background character in future, we'll see.
The 'Appy Eater restaurant chain is based on a chain from the UK which imploded 20 years ago. Nostalgia for the win.

On the right, Jirra Boomer, a red kangaroo bandit leader who appears in 'Heads you lose', and uh... loses his head. Since that happened nearly six centuries before Keith was born, the picture is in no way canon. I'm not even sure who Keith was supposed to be pointing at, but arranging the images thus seemed like a good idea at the time.

Jirra may be dead and gone, but he also lives on in Merlin's "Random Encounter" comic, where he's hopefully learned his lesson, that murdering people and robbing them tends to end in your execution.

As with most of Merlin's sick-bed inks, I've used a photo as the base and done various corrections to derive the inks. So they're a bit scratchy.
