A depiction of Sandwing soldiers fighting in a house, surrounded by an unseen foe, as they desperately hold their position. This was inspired by Alphonse de Neuville's Les dernieres cartouches (The Last Cartridge), which depicts a group of French soldiers in that exact scenario, fighting off a superior force of Bavarian troops. The soldiers' uniforms I based heavily off of the Royal Italian Army during the Second World War and the house interior off of Arabic housing and decorations. Of course, it was initially a chore to look for references, since I had in mind a mire squalid, simple interior, to go along with the idea that this would be merely a Sandwing farmer's house.
